Corey Harrison left fans concerned after revealing that a frightening medical emergency had sent him to the hospital with extensive bruising across his abdomen and side. The Pawn Stars personality shared that what initially seemed like severe discomfort quickly became serious enough that doctors wanted to keep him under close observation while they determined exactly what was happening.

The bruising stretched across a large portion of Corey’s stomach and ribs, turning areas of his skin deep purple and red. Doctors discovered significant internal bleeding beneath the tissue, creating the dramatic discoloration visible across his body. Corey admitted that seeing the bruising spread so quickly frightened him because he had never experienced anything remotely similar.

After undergoing scans and additional testing, Corey was treated to control the bleeding and relieve the pressure caused by the growing hematoma. Medical staff continued monitoring him because internal bleeding can become dangerous when it expands or begins affecting surrounding tissue. Although he remained in considerable pain, Corey was awake, alert, and able to communicate throughout his hospital stay.

From his hospital bed, Corey issued a simple plea to those who had followed him for years: keep him in their thoughts and prayers while he recovered. He explained that the experience had reminded him how quickly an ordinary day could turn into a medical emergency and said his immediate priority was following his doctors’ instructions and allowing his body time to heal.

Corey’s condition eventually stabilized, but doctors warned that the enormous bruising would take time to disappear completely. He was told to avoid strenuous activity while his body absorbed the trapped blood and damaged tissue healed.
