A 14-year-old teenager tragically passed away after inserting part of a small decorative lamp into an electrical outlet while attempting to repair it herself. What began as an ordinary afternoon at home turned into a devastating accident within seconds when the exposed metal component came into contact with live electricity.

The teenager had noticed that the bedside lamp was no longer working properly and believed the problem was connected to its plug. Instead of disconnecting the power completely, she removed part of the lamp assembly and attempted to insert the exposed connector back into the outlet. The moment it made contact, a powerful electrical current passed through the device and into her body.
